| It's butt ass cold outside and tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I've been back from China less than one week. So much has happened since the last time I updated. I had a crazy crazy bachelorette party. But I've been sworn to secrecy about what happened. What happened at the beach stays at the beach *wink wink*! Those aKDPhi girls sure know how to have a good time. Thanks again for organizing such a wonderful weekend. And then a month and a day ago...I FINALLY got married! Yay!~ All my girls were there. We had wonderful weather and it was an awesome time. I hate that I didn't even get that much time to spend with everyone b/c my photographer, videographer and DJ kept needing me to be here and there to do things but it was so so much fun. I haven't seen many pictures but will attempt to post once I get some. And then we went on the most awesome honeymoon EVER! We went to China and Hong Kong for 3 weeks. I know not the most typical honeymoon but hey, who said I was a typical kind of girl. Had a blast! Still suffering from some jetlag but finally had to go back to work on Monday after draining our entire bank account. Now we're home for Thanksgiving with the fam. Eat up!!

| So less than 4 months until the big day. Am I ready? Not even close. Our minister had to cancel and I can't find a SINGLE invitiation that I like that's close to our price range. And our honeymoon -- haven't even begun to plan it. But am I stressing? Nope. Should I be? Probably. But at least I have a dress that I like which my brother is supposed to pick up for me (and NOT try on) and my bridesmaids are going to look beautiful. And then there's my crazy sorority sisters (especially Alice) who are planning a beach trip I'm sure I'll remember forever. All in all...I'd say everything is going really well. I'm marrying the most wonderful person EVER (how cliche is that) and we're going to have such a happy little family. I guess everyone is right when they tell me that everything will all work out in the end.
Brian got a job so at least we won't be so poor when we get married. I guess that means I won't have to live in a box after all. Now we just have to decide where in the Triangle we want to move. Decisions decisions...now if I could just find an invitation that I like... |

| It's been so long since I've been on Xanga. For those of you who don't know...I finally set a date for my wedding. October 21, 2006. Unfortunately, I haven't been very good about sitting down and planning. But I have started planning the honeymoon! Probably China with a stop in Japan. I can't wait!!!! It's going to be so much fun. Hopefully soon I'll start looking for dresses. I'm in Lynchburg this weekend so I can spend some time with my mom and start planning the details. Will update with details as I get them...

| Here they are! The much awaited pics from NYC!!!!
Ok...so I was working on posting pics but I can't figure out
how to shrink them so that they're a good size for Xanga. I guess
I'll just have to try again later. Man...I'm so hopeless without
Brian...

| I'm a little late on updating but a few weekends ago...I went to NYC
for the first time. Hit up the big apple with some of my
sisters. What a great time!! Can't go into too much detail b/c what happens in NY stays in
NY. Here are some highlights of the trip:
- $300 bottles
- Akira
- Chinatown and shady sweatshops
- almost hanging out with a psuedo star
- crazy Asian club
- drunken night (and afternoon)
- old flames
Pics to come later!
